Community Cemetery Cleanups are usually held once a month in May, June, July and October, from 9 am (or 9:30 in the fall) to 11:30 am. Please drop in at any time cleanup mornings. Please bring gloves and, if possible, tools such as clippers, scrapers, rakes, or outdoor brooms. Everyone welcome! Many hands make light work!
In 2025, Community Cemetery Cleanup mornings were held on May 17th, June 14th, July 19th, and November 1st. See pictures here of the work by a Scouts' group in the cemetery this fall.

In 2022, Cemetery Cleanup mornings were held in the mornings of May 14th, June 18th, July 16th, October 22nd, and October 29th.
In 2021, we held Cemetery Cleanups in mornings on May 15th, June 19th, July 17th, and October 30th. Thank you to everyone who came out to the cleanups, especially to the large group, who came out on October 30th. A big thank you as well to the 5th Tsartlip Scouts and Venturers, and the 1st Cedar Hill Scouts and Venturers for all their work raking leaves and cleaning up the cemetery on Remembrance Day. In 2020, Cemetery Cleanups were held on Saturday mornings on May 30th, June 20th, and July 25th. In 2019, Cemetery Tours, Cleanup mornings, and Open Houses were held on two Saturdays (May 25th and June 22nd).
We invite and welcome volunteers from the community to these cleanups. Community members are also welcome to help by cleaning graves at other times which fit their schedules.
