Pastoral care is offered through pastoral visits, ensuring all people on the parish list stay connected, welcoming newcomers, and providing information on resources available in the local community.
All parishioners can offer pastoral care when we ensure St. Luke’s is a caring and welcoming community. We can all be aware of, and welcome, visitors and newcomers. As well, we can make ourselves aware of the resources which are available in the community. A binder of Resources for Seniors is in St. Luke's Library in the Lounge.
We can also all help to ensure that everyone on the parish list stays connected to the St. Luke’s community. If you know of someone who would like a visit from Daniel or from a member of the Pastoral Care Team, please let Bonnie in our Parish Office know. Call 250-477-6741 or e-mail [email protected] or e-mail Leslie Flynn, Program Director [email protected]
Or let one of the Pastoral Care Team members know and they will pass the information along to Bonnie or Leslie. Please help St. Luke’s Pastoral Care Team in supporting, nurturing, and caring for all people in our St. Luke’s community.
Current members of the Pastoral Care Team are: Rev. Daniel Fournier, Sandra Lindberg, David and Sylvia Sinclair, Merry Hallsor, Adrienne Lamothe, Kathleen Patterson, Heather Moon, and Barb Felsing.
All members of the Pastoral Care Team have a current Criminal Record Check on file, have completed Safe Church training, and have taken a basic or advanced Pastoral Care Team Training workshop from South Island Centre for Counselling and Training.
