St. Luke’s is located in the heart of Saanich, at the corner of Cedar Hill Road and Cedar Hill Cross Road. Within a few blocks of the church are several shopping centres, medical offices, the Nellie McClung Branch of the Victoria Public Library as well as Braefoot Elementary School and Cedar Hill Middle School.

St. Luke's borders the Mt. Tolmie Community Association and is within the Quadra Cedar Hill Community Association.

Several seniors’ residences and care facilities are in the area, including Highgate Lodge and Dawson Heights (owned by the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia) which is directly across from the church on Cedar Hill Cross Road.

Lutheran Church of the Cross, diagonally across the corner from St. Luke’s, is more than simply a neighbour. St. Luke’s shares strong ties with Church of the Cross through joint services throughout the year such as the Advent Choral Service, the Easter Vigil, a Palm Sunday service and walk between the two churches, and other joint activities such as the Summer Day Camps held each summer since 2012.

Part of our St. Luke's community is the Lakehill Preschool, which leases a large space in the basement of the hall. The Lakehill Preschool is a co-op preschool, administered and maintained by the parents.
