Wednesday's mystery was the Parable of the Talents. We travelled to the Shelbourne Community Kitchen garden, where we painted rocks to ward off bugs and birds from the plants and had a scavenger hunt. We saw the results of the Shelbourne Community Kitchen's volunteers and Canada Summer Jobs students using their talents to create a bountiful garden. In the Investigation Lab, we made God's eyes, bead blankets, and prayer lanterns.
Our snacks today came in our own treasure boxes. Thanks to our talented and creative Snacks Team of Gail Froyland and Scarlette Allen who created this special boxes for all the campers.
In the large treasure box, we found the word "provides", reminding us of the Talents Parable which taught to use wisely that talents that God provides to us.
