Today we heard about the Breastplate of Righteousness and we talked about treating others fairly and kindly, no matter how they look. Pastor Lyndon read, "From the stars in the sky to the fish in the sea", about a child, Mui Lan, who doesn't fit into the world's categories. It's a story of celebrating differences and exploring identities, so that together we can build supportive, loving communities.
We played games, decorated plant pots in Gismo's Lab with Gismo, Gadget, and X-Ray,and visited the Fix It Shop, the Costume Shop, Comic Book Shop, made amazing buttons, and enjoyed our snack of cheese and crackers and grapes. It was another fun day!
