The Kitchen’s new part-time Office Administrator position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has strong communication skills, loves working with people, and finds joy in organizing and maintaining efficient systems.

By managing correspondence, maintaining database records, and assisting the leadership team with key tasks, the Office Administrator position provides core support in the heart of our growing organization.

The Office Administrator will be part of an incredible community of staff, volunteers, participants and board members who all work together to lower barriers to healthy food while fostering community resilience.

Some of the Office Administrator’s responsibilities include:

  • Responding to general inquiries and directing correspondence to team members accordingly.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate membership records in Sumac CRM Database.
  • Assisting with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, including the Annual Report.
  • Providing administrative support for charitable donation processes and donor correspondence.
  • Supporting general operations and staff when needed by recruiting on-call volunteers and/or acting as staff on site.
