Here is an update from Kim at the Shelbourne Community Kitchen regarding donations which would be helpful at this time.

We really appreciate you reaching out to ask what we need most for our members who access the Pantry. Our garden team has gone above and beyond this year, reaching nearly 7,000 of produce so far! Producewise, we're very well stocked, but there are a number of essentials where we could really use some donation support.

  • Potatoes
  • Onions
  • Canned plain beans
  • Dried lentils
  • Coffee and tea
  • Peanut/nut butters
  • Canned soups and chilis
  • Canned vegetables (peas, corn, beans, etc)
  • Toilet paper

We, of course, are beyond grateful for any and all food donations. With the BC Foodbank guidelines we have to follow, items need to be unopened, in their original package, and before their best before date.

A basket will be at the back of the church for donations. We look forward to being able to deliver lots of donations to the Shelbourne Community Kitchen on Tuesday.

Thanksgiving Blessings.
