The Shelbourne Community Kitchen team is excited to announce that the Kitchen's COVID-19 Urgent Food Support Fund officially raised $32,115!*
Thanks to the Fund, our team hasn't missed a single day of service, has established a home delivery service and continues to offer the same fresh, healthy and respectful food support that the Pantry program is known for. We did this despite a sharp increase in new registrants right when we had to cancel multiple food drives and fundraising events due to the pandemic.
We are so encouraged by the incredible community support and we send our heart-felt thanks to everyone for their generous donations. Thank you for helping to make our work possible.
*This amount includes all donations made online through Canada Helps and received in cash/ cheque while the campaign was running (March to May 31st). It does not include any grants received or gifts in kind.
