We are collecting donations for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and one way we are doing this is through a “Loonies for Lent” program.
Please take a collection barrel (found at the back of the church or at the office) and over the period of Lent donate any loose change (including loonies, toonies, notes - whatever you can manage).
You can also just write a cheque or put an IOU in the barrel and we will co-ordinate with you an e transfer later on. Bring your collection barrels back on Easter Sunday, having marked your name or envelope # on the barrel for tax receipt purposes.
