On March 10, Provincial Health Officials announced the easing of pandemic restrictions (effective March 11), with further easing expected April 8.
The Diocesan COVID-19 Task Force, in consultation with the bishop, is developing further guidance for us as a community of faith in response to the changes made by public health. Out of an abundance of caution, the task force is taking time to review the changes being made by public health and to consider the risks associated with activities such as singing indoors and the administration of communion.
Updated guidelines will be released early next week. Until then, our current restrictions remain in place, including proof of vaccination (for non-worship gatherings) and the wearing of masks for all services.
