**Treasurer Transition – A big thank you to Kathleen Patterson who has been continuing as the Interim Treasurer since the AGM in spite of offering her resignation as Treasurer at that meeting. We thank Kathleen for all her work as Treasurer over the past three years, particularly during the tough time of dealing with St. Luke's finances during COVID. Barb Prescott has agreed to take on the role of Interim Treasurer until the next AGM.

Do you like to search the internet? Parish Council is looking for a volunteer(s) to help research and apply for grants that would assist in funding projects on our Church property. For example, renovations to the Church washroom to make it more accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. Please contact the Church Wardens, Brenda, or Heather for more information.

Do you like to fix things? Parish Council is recruiting volunteers for our Buildings and Grounds Fix It Team. Items to be fixed include, for example, a squeaky Narthex door and a loose hand railing. Please contact the Wardens, Brenda, or Heather for more information.

Thank you for your donations in your Loonies for Lent boxes and your other donations to Earthquake Relief for Turkey and Syria – We have sent a cheque to the Canadian Red Cross in the amount of $2,250 to be put towards Earthquake Relief in Turkey and Syria.

**Firehoses and Family – A hilarious dramedy presented by St. Luke’s Players. When Bobbi and Phil Stanton agreed to have their oldest son’s wedding in their backyard, they had no idea that the day would involve travel delays, secrets revealed and a highly unusual cake. The last show will be today at 2:00 pm. Tickets for this play are available through EventBrite or at the door. See more information at the Events page.

Shelbourne Community Kitchen Summer Send Off Food Drive Campaign – As we celebrate the end of the school year and all the fun adventures that await us this summer, let's work together to keep healthy food accessible for low income families and individuals in our community. The Kitchen's most needed items are: dried and canned beans, instant meals, canned fruit or vegetables, condiments and sauces, and canned meat and fish. Please continue to put these needed items in the basket in the church or the basket beside the office and we’ll deliver them to the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. See more information at the News page.

Artistic Collaboration Pathway toward Reconciliation – Please join Artist Virgil Sampson and Rabbi Harry Brechner on Tuesday, June 6, 7 pm at Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue, 1461 Blanshard Street for a first peak at the art and an opportunity to bid on first editions and purchase special Remarque prints that were embellished by Virgil.
