Combined Services with Lutheran Church of the Cross (www.lutheranvictoria.ca) take place on Palm Sunday and the first Sunday in Advent. In 2019, St. Luke's took part in the Contemplative Advent Vespers Service held on December 1 at Church of the Cross. This service featured songs for Advent by the choirs of St. Luke's and Church of the Cross and readings by celebrated poet, Lorna Crozier.
St. Luke's has special music at the Christmas Pageant, Christmas Eve services, Feast of the Epiphany Carol service, and during Holy Week (Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday Services, and the Easter Children's Service).
Our Soloists' Program often features some of our fabulous volunteer choir members, other volunteer musicians from the congregation and/or local guest musicians. Musical selections from many centuries, genres and types (classical, baroque, contemporary, folk, etc.) are presented.
The Music Ministry Concerts have raised funds for the Choral Scholar program, the Organ Maintenance Fund, and other programs as needed.
