This special presentation of Silver and Sage will take place on the first Thursday of November (instead of the second Thursday). This presentation will feature the literature of WW1, and is entitled, "A Little Patch of Ground".
"A Little Patch of Ground - Literature of WW1" explores the experiences of people on the battlefront through the prism of poetry, stories, and memoirs they left behind. Their personal stories are a microcosm through which we understand, on a human level, the horror, trauma, and devastating effects of war - the tragic waste of it all. While WW1 is the focus, the themes are universal.
