Please read the letter below from Bishop Anna. In the letter, she expresses gratitude for all the hard work that people across the Diocese have put in to complete the Safe Church Training over the last few months.
Those in paid positions as well as volunteers who are Parish Council members, work with children, seniors, or in pastoral care roles, or are in other leadership positions are required to take Safe Church training. Safe Church training is offered to ensure that our parishes are places of safety and wholeness for those who come to us seeking the love of Christ. The training also ensures all our volunteers and employees are aware of their own personal safety and are equipped to manage their own personal risk.
