Community Cemetery Cleanup Morning

This Saturday, November 1st - 9:30 -11:30 am

It's time for a fall cleanup of St. Luke's Cemetery. Please come and help tidy the cemetery for the winter and in preparation for our service in November to recognize veterans.

Please drop in at any time on Saturday morning to assist with the cleanup. Please bring gloves and, if possible, tools such as clippers, scrapers, a rake, or an outdoor broom. Many hands make light work.

Save the Date for a Service of Remembrance to Honour Veterans in St. Luke's Cemetery

Sunday, November 9th at 10 am

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 9th at 10 am in St. Luke's Church.

The service will start in the church and then will move outside to honour the veterans in St. Luke's Cemetery. The names of the more than 185 veterans resting or commemorated in St. Luke's Cemetery will be read and remembrance pots will be placed on their graves.

The service will be livestreamed starting at 10 am as well as recorded to view later at your convenience.

Sunday, November 2nd at 7 pm

You are invited to a special musical service to honour All Saints' and All Souls' Days in St. Luke's Church on Sunday, November 2 at 7 pm.

As well as the beautiful liturgy and music of a sung Evensong service, there will be special music presented by flutist Mary Byrne, bassoonist Matthew Robertson, and bell ringer Maria Ross.

All are welcome. Please bring a friend.
