*Reports for the Annual Meeting package are due in the Parish Office TODAY so that Andy has them when he opens his e-mail on tomorrow morning.

*Our Annual Vestry Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 13th at 1 pm. In order to include those who are not able to attend services and meetings in person, this year's Vestry Meeting will be held via Zoom as we did last year. You can access Zoom on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. If you haven’t used Zoom before, we suggest that you try it before the meeting. Please contact Barb at communications@stlukecedarhill.ca to arrange a practice time so that you are ready to take part and vote at the AGM. See more information at the News page.

Our Next Jazz Vespers will be held on Sunday, February 6th – Jazz up your Sunday evening with a Jazz Vespers Service on February 6th starting at 7 pm. This hour long service in the church will feature lots of jazz along with contemporary prayers, poems, and readings. Come and enjoy a relaxing Sunday evening, listening to jazz along with seasonal prayers, poems, and readings.

*Please register for next week’s service at 10 am on January 30th by phoning (250-477-6741) or e-mailing the office (admin@stlukecedarhill.ca) before 11 am on January 28th. (This will help us manage our capacity limits at this time.) You will need to wear a mask, be distanced in the church except within family groups or established bubbles, and use hand sanitizer when entering the church. The services will be livestreamed and recorded as well as being in-person. The Bishop encourages those who are unvaccinated to watch the online services.

Coffee Time via Zoom will start at 11:45 am after the in-person and livestreamed service. Watch for the link, which will be sent out by e-mail and join us in your home via Zoom. Hope to see you there.

All of your favourite Diocesan Post content can now be found online, where you can easily share it with friends in print, e-mail, or on social media. 2022 Contributor Boxes Your box of envelopes for 2022 is available to be picked up from the church or the church office. If you are not able to come to church or the church office, please e-mail (admin@stlukecedarhill.ca) or call St. Luke’s Office (250-477-6741) and we will arrange for someone to drop off your box. Even if you contribute by ECP (Electronic Collection Plate), please pick up your box. If at some point during the year you wish to make a donation for a special event or cause, such as for flowers, outreach, or a seasonal donation at Christmas or Easter, please use one of your envelopes for that additional donation.

Thank You for Your Support for the Ongoing Ministry of St. Luke’s Church through your offerings by writing a cheque, making a donation online through Canada Helps, and by signing up for ECP. Note that the offerings will now be taken forward to the altar each Sunday during the service, but we aren’t allowed to pass around the collection plate at this time. If you miss putting in your donation as you enter the church, donations left in the collection plates after the service will also be collected.

Country Grocer Save A Tape Program Update – Please continue to collect your Country Grocer receipts and turn them in to the Church Office, mail them to the Church Office, or put them in an envelope in the mail slot. As of January 12th, we have reached our goal of $5,020.02 for a 2nd $50.00 gift certificate. Now we can start working towards our next goal of $5,000 to receive a third $50.00 gift certificate. Well done, everyone! Please keep dropping off your receipts so we can reach another $5,000. See more information at the News page.

*Stamps for Cookware for the Shelbourne Community Kitchen – St. Luke's is collecting the stamps from Thrifty Foods for the Vivo pots and pans promotion. We did a great job collecting stamps for knives earlier this year. Now the stamps collected will be used to buy pots and pans for Shelbourne Community Kitchen. If you shop at Thrifty's and don't need the stamps, please consider collecting and donating them. The stamps can be put in an envelope and dropped off at the office or put in the mail box by the hall front door. So far we have enough stamps to buy 3 pans. Please continue to drop off your stamps so that we can buy more. The promotion runs until March 2, 2022.
