Visit the Events page of St. Luke’s website for the link to register at EventBrite. 40 spaces will be available. Registration will open at noon on Sunday, August 2nd and will end at noon on Thursday, August 6th. You can also register by calling (250-477-6741) or e-mailing ([email protected]) the office. *The Deadline for the Summer issue of St. Luke’s Prescription is THIS FRIDAY, August 7th – Please drop your submissions into St. Luke’s mailbox, send them by e-mail to St. Luke’s Office ([email protected]), or to Sharon McMillan ([email protected]). We’d love to receive your stories, poems, and photos. We’d like to hear how you were affected by the pandemic. Did it change what you usually do? A lot, not much? In what ways?

St. Luke’s Garden Tour Pictures for Next Prescription – So many people have been working in their gardens this year. We are planning to have “Garden Tour” in the next Prescription showing pictures of your gardens. Please send your Garden Tour pictures to [email protected]. Questions? Please talk to Sharon McMillan or Barb Prescott.

*Thrifty Foods Smile Cards – Thank you to everyone who has been using their Smile Cards. This year’s Thrifty’s Smile Card Fundraiser Program has now started and we have received our first payment of $107.50. This year the money will go towards repairing some of our rock walls. If you don’t yet have a Smile Card, please call the office and we will arrange to get one to you.

*St. Luke’s Spring Fair Fund – Thank you for continuing to make your regular donations and for your extra donations to the Spring Fair Fund. As of July 27th including the donations from the Plant Sale, we have received $4,324.45 towards the Spring Fair Fund (62% of our way to raising $7,000). Let’s see if we can make up the $7,000 of income we are missing because we weren't able to hold our Spring Fair this year. If you are making a donation to the Spring Fair Fund, please note this on your envelope or your cheque, or choose Spring Fair Fund when you make a donation online through Canada Helps.

**A Request from Our Place As they reopen their doors to welcome family members back, Our Place is in need of toiletries such as hotel size shampoo, soap, skin lotions, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, deodorant, safety razors, shaving cream, band aids, sunscreen.
