Thrifty Foods Smile Cards – Thank you to everyone who has been using their Smile Cards. This year’s Thrifty’s Smile Card Fundraiser Program has now started and we have received our first payment of $107.50. This year the money will go towards repairing some of our rock walls. If you don’t yet have a Smile Card, please call the office and we will arrange to get one to you.
*St. Luke’s Spring Fair Fund – Thank you for continuing to make your regular donations and for your extra donations to the Spring Fair Fund. As of August 2nd including the donations from the Plant Sale, we have received $4,449.45 towards the Spring Fair Fund (64% of our way to raising $7,000). Let’s see if we can make up the $7,000 of income we are missing because we weren't able to hold our Spring Fair this year. If you are making a donation to the Spring Fair Fund, please note this on your envelope or your cheque, or choose Spring Fair Fund when you make a donation online through Canada Helps.
A Request from Our Place – As they reopen their doors to welcome family members back, Our Place is in need of toiletries such as hotel size shampoo, soap, skin lotions, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, deodorant, safety razors, shaving cream, band aids, sunscreen.
