St. Luke's has been a place of Anglican worship continuously since 1860. The church is a heritage site and enjoys an active congregation. Services are taken from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and the Book of Alternative Services (BAS).
St. Luke's is one of the few Anglican Churches in Victoria to regularly hold four services on Sunday. Sunday services are usually at 8:00 am (said Eucharist), 9:15 am (Eucharist with contemporary language, a children’s program and nursery care provided), 11:00 am (traditional Choral Eucharist with choir), and 7:30 pm (Evensong).
On the third Sunday of the month, there is a combined 10:00 am service instead of the 9:15 service and the 11:00 am service. On Thursday mornings, there is a 10:30 am said Eucharist service.
Please see the home page for details of this Sunday's services. |
