Special Music
The St Luke's Music Ministry Team offers special music at the First Sunday in Advent Combined Service with Lutheran Church of the Cross, at the Lessons and Carols for Advent service, the Christmas Pageant, Christmas Eve services, Feast of the Epiphany Carol service, and during Holy Week (Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday Services, and the Easter Children's Service), Pentecost Sunday, Thanksgiving and the Sunday prior to Remembrance Day. Music for Reflections services (second Sunday of the month from September to November and January to June feature musicians from the Greater Victoria area presenting a varied repertoire suited for the quiet and cotemplative nature of this service.
Bell Choir Program
Conductor Muriel Ali formed a Bell Choir in 2022 and this group of enthusiastic volunteers has been offering music at High Festivals including Christmas Eve, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
Soloists' Program
Our Soloists' Program often features some of our fabulous volunteer choir members, other volunteer musicians from the congregation and/or local guest musicians. Musical selections from many centuries, genres and types (classical, baroque, contemporary, folk, etc.) are presented.
Fundraising Concerts
The Music Ministry Concerts have raised funds for the Choral Scholar program, the Organ Maintenance Fund, and other programs as needed.
