St. Luke’s is located in the heart of Saanich, at the corner of Cedar Hill Road and Cedar Hill Cross Road, and may be reached by Route 24/25 of the BC Transit bus service, and by other buses which travel on Shelbourne Street, 2 blocks east of Cedar Hill Road. Within a few blocks of the church are several shopping centres, medical offices, the Nellie McClung Branch of the Victoria Public Library as well as Braefoot Elementary School and Cedar Hill Middle School.

Several seniors’ residences and care facilities are in the area, including Highgate Lodge and Dawson Heights (owned by the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia) which is directly across from the church on Cedar Hill Cross Road.

The Lutheran Church of the Cross, diagonally across the corner from St. Luke’s, is more than simply a neighbour. St. Luke’s shares strong ties with the Church of the Cross through joint services throughout the year such as the Advent Choral Service and the Easter Vigil and our weekend together at Camp Columbia.

St. Luke's borders the Mt. Tolmie Community Association and is within the Quadra Cedar Hill Community Association. Part of our St. Luke's community is the Lakehill Preschool, which leases a large space in the basement of the hall. The Lakehill Preschool is a co-op preschool administered and maintained by the parents. Another member of the St. Luke's community, the South Island Centre for Counselling and Training, rents the building which was the rectory located on St. Luke's grounds. SICCT provides professional services to individuals, families and organizations, facilitating personal, relational and spiritual wholeness.

St. Luke’s is a great place to visit, whether you are coming for a worship service, researching information in our historic cemetery, or taking in one of our musical events. You can take advantage of the many events and activities that are open to the community. Take in a play performed by St. Luke’s Players, come to our Spring Fair held the last Saturday of April, or Christmas Bazaar on the last Saturday of November. (See Fundraising page for more information.) Or join us for Bible Study or Centering Prayer to learn and grow in your faith. We also have an assortment of Christian Books available in the lounge library for loan. Potluck lunches are offered in our Church Hall at various times of the year. Anyone is welcome to join us.
