A Nursery Program is available Sunday mornings at the 9:15 and 10 am services. The nursery, for babies to 3 year olds, is in the basement of the church and parents may take their children there before the start of the service. They usually bring their children back into church just before communion so that they can receive a blessing at the altar rail. Parents, grandparents and other parishioners volunteer in the nursery on a rotating schedule. If you would like to help in the nursery, contact Gillian Bloom or the Church Office for more information.

The Sunday School Program at St. Luke’s welcomes children aged 4 to 10. Older children and youth are invited to take part in the Youth Program. The children come with their parents to 9:15 am service (or 10 am service on the 3rd Sunday of the month). They take part in Children’s Chancel at the beginning of the service and then move to the church hall for stories, crafts and activities. The children return to church before communion so that they can go with their parents to the altar rail to receive communion or a blessing.

A roster of parents and other parishioners assist Heather Parker, the Sunday School and Children's Programs Coordinator. Nursery and Sunday School volunteers are asked to obtain a Criminal Record Check, which is available at no charge to volunteers. Contact the Church Office for more information.

As well as Nursery and Sunday School Programs on Sunday mornings, there are a number of other opportunities for families at St. Luke’s. See Recent Bulletins or contact the Church Office for more information.
